A huge campaign across southeast Poland and modern Ukraine saw Austrian forces advance through Krasnik and Komárow, while further south Russians crossed the Zlota Lipa and Gnila Lipa and took Lemberg after Rawa Russka and Gorodok. At the end, the entire Austrian front collapsed in Galicia and the Russians took control of Lemberg(Lviv). Austria abandoned Galicia except Przemysl which was besieged by the Russians.
