Renewing rebellion against Henry IV after defeat at Shrewsbury, Henry Percy Earl of North-umberland marched into Yorkshire, aided by Scots under Lord Thomas Bardolph. On Bramham Moor near Tadcaster, they encountered a large force led by Sir Thomas Rokeby, Sheriff of Yorkshire, who defeated and killed both Percy and Bardolph, ending the rebellion.
